Free Extremely Fast 400++ Formats Image Viewer/Converter Got New Upgrade

Again from filehippo I read good news about releasing of XnView version 1.97.1. It is a freeware program I always use to view bunch of digital image formats, runs on Windows XP, Server 2003, Vista, or Windows 7. The developer claims their software support more than 400 image formats. Wooww!!

See this XnView v1.96.2 installed in my computer.
From ceritati.blogspot.com

I remember that about 5-6 years ago, I relied on ACDSee, a nice professional image viewer (payware). But after version 3.xx (if I'm not mistaken), ACDSee become hard to run on my old system although it come with more function than older version, especially with its PowerPack addition.

Btw, I have used XnView program since long time ago, and maybe because already satisfied, I will retained to version 1.96.2. It runs airily and also has some cool functionalities such as image format conversion, capture screen to image, editing image's metadata. I also tried IrfanView (freeware) before, but I found that XnView's user interface (GUI) is closer with ACDSee. I just found one weakness of this program, its screen capturer can't catch transparent windows such as toolbox windows on Paint.NET application. But, because screen capturer is just kind of bonus function to this freeware, it shouldn't reduce its attraction as good image viewer.

Good comparison list of image viewers can be saw in here.

If you are interested to XnView, then go to this official website and download it!!
